Free Computer Education for SC/ST Students

This was started in 1994 with 30 students being trained annually. Financially aided by the union government's SC/ST ministry, it has till date ensured the placement of more than 400 students all of whom are from rural backgrounds. This was due to SCOPE giving preference to rural candidates due to their lacking similar facilities in their areas.

Candidates applications are collected from SHGs as the latter have a good idea of candidates in their area and also from the district employment office.
